Tafkid was born from a real need within our own community.
In Antwerp’s Jewish community, finding meaningful employment has long been a challenge. The job market is limited, opportunities are often hard to access, and many talented individuals have struggled in silence — not because they lack skills or ambition, but because there hasn’t been a clear path forward.
We created Tafkid to change that.
As the first dedicated job placement agency within our community, Tafkid was founded with a clear mission: to open doors, break down barriers, and give every person a fair chance to find their tafkid — their role, their mission in life.
